For a while now, I have realized that children learn digitally, and that slowly but surely, I have been procrastinating to understand their "world" of interest.
At the start of the day, the Manaiakalani initiative and program was explained and I was amazed at the timeline and how long its been running. (Wish I jumped in sooner!) It is a world that we cannot escape from and to stay in touch and be a successful teacher and facilitator, I will have to be open to this way of teaching and facilitating. Making connections has always been my strength, but not digitally! Now is the time!
Today was not only new learning, but a reflection on my strengths and needs.I found that my Google Drive folders are actually organised and easily accessible for my daily use, and that I was more familiar with it than I realised or gave myself credit for. I definitely have to learn how to use Google Mail more creatively. Using GMail, could make it easier to communicate with whanau, students and colleagues.
Blogging is also a whole new world and I believe with some practise, I will be able to communicate ideas effectively through this tool. Looking forward to extending myself and hope my DFI bubble will be patient with me.
It was a good day.

It is great to affirm what you are already doing! Ka pai for having an organised Drive. this makes it so much easier to retrieve and share files and folders.
I will try to sort out your Screenshot filing and we can insert your poster on this blog post to show your creativity.
